Independent, non‑profit organization
The DeltaFosB Foundation is an independent, non‑profit organization established in 2022 in Poland. We work at the intersection of science, culture, and social reflection, focusing on processes of durable change—those that unfold over time rather than through short‑term intervention.
Our statutory mission includes the dissemination of knowledge in psychology, philosophy, and culture; the development of constructive forms of social communication; and the exploration of how contemporary technologies can support education, mediation, and civic resilience. We approach these areas in an interdisciplinary manner, combining research‑based perspectives with cultural and public discourse.
The name DeltaFosB refers to a concept from neuroscience associated with long‑term neuroplasticity and sustained adaptation. While the Foundation is not a biomedical research institution, this reference reflects our guiding interest in lasting transformation—whether in individuals, communities, or the languages and narratives through which social reality is understood.
Rather than operating through mass campaigns or rapid‑impact programs, the Foundation is oriented toward conceptual, educational, and editorial work. Our projects are developed in collaboration with researchers, practitioners, artists, and independent thinkers, and often take the form of publications, learning initiatives, and experimental formats of knowledge exchange.
We do not frame our activity around quick solutions or simplified diagnoses. Instead, we seek to create and support spaces for careful inquiry, intellectual responsibility, and long‑term engagement with complex social phenomena. The DeltaFosB Foundation sees its role not as speaking louder than others, but as contributing to conditions in which meaningful and sustained change can gradually emerge.
